FAP
"FAP" is an experimental black and white short film that explores the intense and complicated relationship between two generic human beings, Black and White. White is plagued by constant worries of abandonment and infidelity, leading to explosive arguments between the two. In one of these arguments, White's anger boils over and he brutally beats Black to death. Overcome with remorse, White attempts to wash away his actions and bring Black back to life. However, his efforts are in vain, and White ultimately decides to join Black in death, using a scalpel to end his own life.
The film's split-tone reflects the two sides of the relationship, with the first half being chaotic and frenzied, while the second half is slow and poignant. Sound effects are used in an experimental way throughout the film, with normal sound effects being replaced by a mix of music, video game sounds, and other noises. In the second half, bird sounds are used to emphasize the emotions that White is going through.
Directed and edited by me, the film is a unique and thought-provoking exploration of the complexities of human relationships and the devastating consequences of unchecked emotions.
